Every work space needs the perfect desk lamp. Not only is it essential for working, but also in creating the ideal look and atmosphere that is most conducive to doing your thing, whatever that may be. This week I have partnered with Iconic Lights to share my perfect desk lamp choice, the ‘Forton’ swing arm desk lamp in the most beautiful shade of grey.
My work space is an ever-evolving interior that reflects me and what I love and since it’s make-over a few years ago it has continued to be one of my favourite spaces in my home. It’s a space that considers only me. Afterall, I spend most of my time in here for both work and relaxation.
It’s a hard-working area and each piece that I choose for the room has to be functional but also beautiful. So when Iconic Lights invited me to share a piece from their latest collection, there was absolutely no doubt as to my choice.
Forton Swing Arm Adjustable Desk Lamp
The ‘Forton’ collection comprises a choice of floor and desk lamps that offer a contemporary take on a traditional shape. It is absolutely the perfect desk lamp for my office, which is very much a hybrid of contemporary meets country. It’s as if they were made for each other. I had worked with Iconic Lights previously and I was well aware of their ethos for great style and I was excited to add an iconic touch to my desk.
I chose the grey desk lamp and I was thrilled when I opened the box. Much larger than I was expecting, the lamp is heavy and well constructed, creating a sturdy, high-quality finish. Two working knuckles allow you to adjust the lamp to the height and angle that you desire. When working at the computer, I tend to raise it up for a general flood of light. More detailed tasks are much easier when I can direct the light exactly where I need it.
Iconic Lights are currently holding a sale and you can purchase the Forton collection at an introductory sale price. Head to their website to see the full range and snag yourself a bright bargain.
