Looking for Easter inspiration? Look no further than the Marks and Spencer press show and don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time to head to your nearest store and fill your Easter basket.

Easter Treats in London
Easter was always a second go at Christmas in my house. We always did the huge roast dinner, gifted eggs and sweet treats, gathered round the TV for the Easter movie and caught a snooze together. Somehow, in my adulthood, Easter has turned into that lazy day where I eat chocolate for all three meals. As much as I enjoy eating like an unsupervised toddler, this year, I will reclaim Easter with a little help from M&S.

As I walked up the street to the press show location, there were people gathering outside the venue, taking pictures and cooing at the stunning spring floral display in the windows. A sea of greens and pastels dotted with foil wrapped eggs had me ready to don a bonnet and get egg hunting. Note to self: I need more flowers in the house for Easter
Bottoms up!
I’m not just talking about the super cute Yoga Bunny ‘egg’! I’m all about the array of spring time drinks that were on offer to welcome us to the show. I love Prosecco and always indulge in a bottle or two from M&S for high days and holidays, it complements food so well and is so easy to drink with its light sparkle. It was time to get eating.
Next, it was onto the hot cross buns – if I’m being honest, I will admit to the world that my aversion to dried fruit means that I don’t normally indulge in this seasonal treat. But this isn’t just any hot cross bun selection and a salted caramel and chocolate bun was in the toaster so fast , I couldn’t quite believe it. There was a huge spread of buns and toppings with lots of children running round with hot cross bun ice-cream sandwiches. I have to try this over the weekend – it’s going to be warm enough. My salted caramel bun was so delicious and now means I can enjoy them with the rest of my family.
Chocolate Eggs
Obviously, the chocolate egg is the epicentre of celebrations and there were so many decadent eggs to indulge in. The display was out of this world, from cute mini chocolate egg dispensers to a stunning grown-up display of luxury chocolate, I worked my way around the piles of splintered eggs with a very big (chocolate) smile on my face.
The Ruby Egg was a taste sensation – made with ruby chocolate, the colour was stunning and the taste is filled with citrus tang – I couldn’t help but go back for more (many times!). The Bee’s Knees egg is my absolute favourite. White chocolate is so wonderful and this egg is laced with caramel flavours that just elevate your experience to new heights. Get one! No, get two and then come round and share it with me.
#MyMarksFave
Picking my Marks Fave is never easy. The salted caramel and chocolate hot cross buns and the Bee’s Knees egg will absolutely be joining me this Easter. But the White Chocolate and Passionfruit eggs are the most beautiful and delicious Easter dessert I’ve ever had the joy to indulge in, so that has to be my marks fave. Head in-store to grab some for your seasonal feast on Sunday.
Happy Easter and much love,
