Thank you for visiting So Victoria. I’m Victoria; an award-winning photographer and blogger, based in Worcestershire and So Victoria is my online journal and home of my photography portfolio.
My life is just like yours
Our home is a bijoux Victorian workers cottage with fields on one side and a town on the other. Home is where I always long to be, and creating a space that is as comfortable and relaxing as it can be has always been important. It may be tiny, but I just love it.
My life is like is just like yours; very busy, and I’m always striving to stay on top, and its full of ups and downs…
Life is fast, sometimes too fast, you know? I do my best to live intentionally with my lifestyle choices, for example, I holiday in the UK to avoid the air miles, I follow a vegetarian diet and buy only cruelty-free products. For this reason and to limit waste, I always aim to make décor and design choices in my home with longevity in mind, and favour cool whites and minimalist, classic design for this reason. I like to think of this as ‘slow interiors’ – creating relaxing, thoughtful spaces that will stand the test of time.
Birmingham and Worcestershire Blogger
My blog is an outlet for my thoughts and creativity and I love sharing it with you. On my Instagram feed you’ll find my photography, and my stories will give you a bit more insight into the day to day.
If you would like to know more about working with me as a blogger, you can find all the details on my collaboration page.
The job bit
Following spending ten-years as a Drama and English teacher, I leapt into the scary world of career changes. I loved so many aspects of teaching, but found I was becoming more and more interested in photography and digital marketing.
I now work in creative digital marketing alongside providing freelance photography services across the UK.

My family is not your typical 2-point-four
I live in Worcestershire with my partner, Chris, and our three much-loved kitties, Alley, Milly and Jimmie. After losing our beloved boy Arthur in May 2017, we found, rehabilitated and adopted a loveable rascal called Monty. Two years on and its hard to believe that we brought him in from the cold at Christmas time. We might not be your typical 2-point-four family, but there’s lots of love, snuggling and driving each other crazy. I think you’ll find that’s the true definition of family.
Let’s Collaborate
Each week, many new readers visit So Victoria to enjoy a range of articles.
As a photographer, beautiful, high resolution imagery is an important part of my blog. It’s a very powerful way to share ideas, and one that I feel is even more important in a world where content creation can feel constant and temporary. For this reason, I will only upload a photograph or blog post that I feel proud to have produced.
Beautiful Photography is my jam
Photography is my job, hobby and passion. I never use auto and love the challenge of leading blog photography.
I like to work with brands that share my values such as responsible living, encouraging a fulfilling life and a beautiful and happy home space.
I have worked with a range of UK businesses and organisations to create exciting and beautifully photographed posts.
